Reverend Andrea Orchard has been working in ministry since 2004, and has served churches in many capacities, including as a worship leader, and coordinator of children’s ministries. She was ordained as a Deacon in 2014 and as a Priest in 2015 and has been the Pastor of LifeSong Church since its beginnings in 2013.
Andrea grew up in the Methodist church and gave her life to Jesus as a teenager. After meeting her husband Mark in college, it soon became evident that God had brought them together for something much more than they expected. They felt called to a non-denominational church after getting married, and Andrea began growing deeper and deeper in her relationship with God. Soon they moved on to the Episcopal/Anglican Church where the beauty of the history and liturgy won her heart. “As I grew deeper in relationship with God, He gave me more responsibility in leadership. As I grew in leadership, I needed to press deeper in relationship with Him.”
When she’s not pastoring the church or assisting the Bishop of our Diocese, Andrea loves to be with her family. “I especially love when everyone is home at the same time. It’s crazy but the laughter is wonderful! I love being with my grandchildren and I look forward to watching them grow and mature.
“I hope people find the unconditional love of God here at LifeSong. I hope they find true humility, a genuine love for Christ and a caring heart for others. My favorite part of LifeSong is the love that the people have for others…and I love the worship team! I love that they can pick up and sing a new song the first time through - they are amazing! A three piece band that can carry a powerful time of Holy Spirit led worship!”
